‘Gurktaler walzer’ is a traditional Austrian waltz, named after the Gurktal Alps mountain range in Austria. There are many different arrangements of it, each musician playing it to their own liking. Here is the way that I like to play it, which is a bit more focused on the Slovenian or ‘Oberkrainer’ style.
