歌のデモ

“Spomin” (Slovenian) or “Erinnerung” (German), meaning “Memory,” is one of the oldest and most popular waltzes by the legendary Avsenik Brothers from Slovenia who pioneered the “Oberkrainer” style of Alpine Folk Music from Slovenia.

Originally performed as an instrumental and adapted in the 1960s with vocals, the lyrics evoke a woman’s fairy tale-like memories brought back by the song (see translated chorus):

“A little white wreath on my head, glistening in the sun…
Smiles everywhere on my cheeks and happiness in my eyes…
And the bells sing a song never sung so…
A tiny ring of gold, a memory of that spring.”

Typically performed as an instrumental, this waltz has become a staple in Alpine folk and Oberkrainer music repertoires across Central Europe and beyond. With its beautiful, memorable melody, it stands as a hallmark of the Avsenik legacy.
