‘Gruss in die Ferne’ (Greetings to afar) is a polka by Franz Arh, accordion player from Austrian Oberkrainer ensemble Lechtaler Buam. Franz Arh also wrote other great songs for Lechtaler Buam including ‘In deinen augen‘. Although this song is always performed by a quintett, my arrangement hopefully makes it enjoyable to play solo on accordion or in a trio.
