This is a popular Austrian traditional polka which was initially referred to as ‘Tramplano’ or ‘Zillertaler Tramplan’ before being adapted and popularised in the 1980s by one of the most popular Volksmusik bands from Austria, Zillertaler Schürzenjäger. This is a popular polka from the 1980s by Hubert Mayer from the successful Austrian band “Die Fidelen Mölltaler”. “Wir grüßen euch” translates to “We greet you” and was used as the band’s introductory song at their concerts. Popular polka by Alois Keuschnigg (Austria). It translates to “Tyrolean boy polka” and was popularized by Austrian band Zillertaler Schürzenjäger on the steirische harmonika (button accordion) in the 1980s.
